Actor Samuel Caruana is no neewbie to the entertainment world. He proves true to his talent and is dedicated to his acting craft with full force. Samuel Caruana has been acting since the age of 8 months old. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey and grew up in some of the most iconic recording studios, in NYC. His background educational experience has been with the study of music, playing saxophone, fencer, archer, has a gift for memorization, and is a second year French and Spanish language student. Aside from the creative knowledge of music and foreign language; Samuel is athletic. He plays football, soccer, an avid swimmer, writter, and comedian. Mr. Caruana is a member of the Japanese Swordsmanship Society, in NJ. He privately trained as a foil fencer & trains at a JOAD facility as an archer. Samuel also trains in stage combat and has been trained to use weapons, for film.
In 2013 Samuel was cast as a lead actor, in “The Phoenix” video for Island Def Jam recording artists “Fall Out Boy” video. The video was directed by Andrew Zaeh & Adam Donald. He can also be seen in Salvador Santana and Aloe Blaccvideo, which he was also casted for in 2013. Samuel Caruana’s gifted talent as a comedian landed him the roles on the television series ” The Neighbors ” and ” Victorious.” In 2012 for the narrative short film “Kickstart Theft”, Samuel Caruana was personally selected for the role of Kierky by the films director, (ASC)Frederic Goodich and (ASC & Oscar award winning cinematographer) Vilmos Zsigmond. This film was an excellent project for Samuel Caruana to work with the best cinematographers in the world. Mr. Caruana proves in this film that he can truly show his true talent on every level. Samuel Caruana’s 2010 video about the First Amendment won second place in the National First Amendment Contest and was featured in an exhibit at the Newseum, in Washington, D.C. In 2011 Samuel Caruana wrote, directed, starred in and released his first short film, ” Hummingbird “. Samuel is an alumni of The Lee Strasberg Film & Theatre Institute, in NYC . Samual Caruana can be seen in the recurring role of Dylan Young in the comedy series “Moms”. Samuel recently completed a role in the ” Untitled Anjelah Johnson (aka Bon Qui Qui) project .”
